Scope and Application
These rules govern all wagering conducted on the Wj2 Sportsbook and related betting services. They apply to every bet placed through the Wj2 platform, including pre‑event and in‑play markets, and govern settlement, refunds, risk controls, and compliance. By placing a bet, a user agrees to these rules and to any supplementary terms that apply to the wager or the account.
Eligibility, Registration, and Access
Participants must be legally eligible to wager and must meet the minimum age requirement of at least 18 years, or the age of majority in the user’s jurisdiction if higher. The user must be physically present in a jurisdiction where online sports betting is permitted and where Wj2 operates. A registered account must undergo identity and residence verification (KYC) before deposits or wagers may be accepted. Wj2 reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate access to accounts for risk, fraud, or regulatory compliance purposes.
Balances and Bonus Funds
- Real Balance: funds deposited by the user used for wagering. Winnings credited to the real balance unless otherwise stated.
- Bonus Balance: funds awarded under promotions or incentives. Bonus funds may be subject to wagering requirements, event eligibility restrictions, and time limits. Winnings derived from bonus funds are typically credited to the bonus balance and may require conversion to withdrawable funds in accordance with the applicable terms.
- Utilisation rules: bonuses may be restricted to specific bet types or maximum stake limits per event. Breach of bonus terms may result in voiding bonus funds and related winnings.
Bets and Market Types
A bet is a contractual wager on a defined outcome of a sporting event. Wj2 offers multiple bet types; all bets are settled in accordance with these rules and the official statistics of the event.
- Single bets — a wager on a single event outcome. Payout is the stake multiplied by the odds of the selected outcome if correct.
- Accumulator (Multibet) — a bet combining multiple independent selections. All selections must win for the accumulator to pay. The total payout equals the product of the individual odds multiplied by the stake. Bets requiring more than one prediction across different events may be subject to market restrictions.
- System bets — a fixed-size collection of multiple bets where each combination is settled separately. Payouts are the sum of the outcomes of each constituent bet.
- Conditional bets — a chain where only the first (main) part is paid; the remainder is paid from winnings of the main part. If the main part loses, all conditional bets are lost. If the main winnings are insufficient to cover conditional bets, those bets are excluded.
Market Rules and Verification
Wj2 may void or suspend a market in response to errors, unverified results, or anomalies. If the outcome cannot be verified officially, markets may be voided until confirmation. If a fixture is completed or abandoned, unsettled markets are governed by the final verified result or by the rules governing voiding of unfinished markets. Wj2 reserves the right to correct settlements where an error is detected, including adjustments arising from official data updates.
Live Betting
Live bets are accepted on events in progress. Live odds update in real time to reflect the evolving state of play. Settlements are based on information available from official sources at the conclusion of the event or relevant segment. If an event is interrupted and not resumed within 48 hours, unsettled live bets may be voided. Claims for live bets must be submitted within 24 hours of the event start unless otherwise stated. If a match is abandoned or not finished, live bets on outcomes not conclusively determined are void, unless the outcome is determined by official results prior to the interruption.
Handicaps, Totals, and Special Markets
The European Handicap is an integer goal difference applied to a team or competitor for settlement purposes. Other handicap variants, including Asian handicaps, may be offered as separate markets with their own settlement rules. If the match result after applying the handicap is a draw, bets on the handicap may be settled at odds of 1.0 unless the market specifies otherwise. European handicaps are presented in formats such as Team A (−2) – Draw (−2) – Team B (−2); the handicap value is applied to the final result for settlement purposes.
Dead Heat and Tie Scenarios
In the event of a dead heat (tie among multiple selections), the stake is distributed proportionally among the winner(s) and the return is calculated by dividing the stake by the number of winners and then applying the original odds. Dead heat rules do not apply to markets that inherently include a draw as a separate outcome.
Disruptions, Corrections, and Official Data
Settlements are determined using official data sources. If the event is subject to a late official decision, corrections may be issued so long as not inconsistent with the governing rules. Markets opened with incorrect information or that rely on unverified data may be voided. If a venue changes or a participant’s status changes after bets have been placed, settlements will reflect the final official result. Where no official data exists, settlements will rely on Wj2’s internal data while seeking corroboration from credible sources.
Participation Restrictions and Security
Wj2 may restrict participation based on age, location, or other regulatory restrictions. The platform employs geolocation, device fingerprinting, and anti‑fraud systems to detect unauthorised betting activity. Repeated attempts to circumvent limits or engage in suspicious betting activity may result in account limitations or closure.
Promotions, Withdrawals, and KYC
Promotional offers are governed by their own terms and conditions and may require compliance with wagering requirements. Withdrawals are subject to verification checks and may be withheld until identity and residence verification are complete. Winnings derived from bonus funds may be restricted from withdrawal until they have met applicable conversion or wagering criteria.
Changes to Rules and Governing Law
Wj2 reserves the right to amend these Rules. Material changes will be published on the platform with a notice period where required by law. The Rules are governed by the applicable law and any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
Dispute Resolution and Support
For queries about settlements, errors, or account status, users should contact Wj2 support via the official channels. All disputes must be filed within the timeframes specified by the rules; the operator's decision on disputes is final unless required by applicable law to reconsider.
